AT LAST, A COMPLETE GAME FROM EAGLES OFFENSE, DEFENSE, SPECIAL!
By Art Beitchman
Finally, in their 10th game of the 2021 season, the Eagles played a complete game.
On offense, defense, and special teams, the Birds dominated for a convincing 30-13 victory over the previously winning team Denver Broncos.
Mixing the run and pass to perfection, the Birds ran for 214 yards behind Jordan Howard’s 83, Boston Scott’s 81, and QB Jalen Hurts 53 to again get nice yardage on the ground.
Hurts also connected with Devonta Smith for 2 big TD passes of 36 and 5 yards as Smith became Hurt’s go-to guy.
CB Darius Slay scooped up a fumble recovery for an 83-yard scamper to the end zone to put a ribbon on the Eagle’s impressive 60-minute effort.
Next Sunday versus the New Orleans Saints they get a chance to get their 1st home victory of the year coming off their best complete game.
