EAGLES ARE 1 1/2 FAVE AND HEALTHY — CHIEFS ARE WOUNDED DOGS!
By Art Beitchman
As both Super Bowl teams touched down in Arizona Sunday, the Eagles are clearly the healthier team going into the big game less than a week away.
Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes still has a high ankle sprain, but no doubt he will play when the game’s kicked off next Sunday.
Five other Chief players who play significant minutes were listed as questionable just a few days ago:
WR Mecole Hardman is doubtful with a pelvis injury.
WR’s JuJu Smith-Shuster and Kardarius Toney are still injured.
OLB Willie Gay Jr. is questionable with a shoulder.
CB L’Jarius Sneed is questionable with a concussion during the opening defensive snaps of the AFC Championship Game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Eagles players are healthy.
CB Avonte Maddox is still nursing an injured toe but is expected to start the game,.
Same for OL Landon Dickerson, who hyperextended his elbow in the 49er game, is a starter for the game.
Only time will tell if these injured Chiefs comes back to haunt the come Super Sunday.
