EAGLES WOULD HAVE LOST WITHOUT AJ BROWN’S 10 CATCHES FOR 155 YARDS

The Eagles getting the season-opening win against the Detroit Lions 38-35 is the bottom line.
Giving up 35 points to the Lions is troubling and needs to be fixed before they start playing playoff contenders this season.
The newcomers to the Birds played well, especially WR AJ Brown who hauled in 10 passes for 155 yards in his Eagles debut.
Now we know why he hung an ” always open” sign at his locker last week.

LB Kyzir White had a big tipped pass leading to James Bradberry’s pick-6, — the new guys showed up and balled out.
QB Jalen Hurts also looked good throwing for 243 yards, also running for a TD, as the Birds running backs got scores, Miles Sanders, Boston Scott, Kenneth Gainwell all reached the end zone with TD’s.
Eagles fans hope the defense with more reps as the regular progresses can do a better job stopping the run and the pass, also generating a more consistent pass rush as the season grinds on, 1-0 tied for 1st in the NFC East what matters today.
