In order for the trade to work, Danny Green’s non-guaranteed contract will have to be partially guaranteed to at least $6.52 million for salary matching purposes, Yossi Gozlan of HoopsHype tweets.
Green is recovering from tears in his ACL and LCL suffered in the last Sixers playoff game against the Heat.
De’Anthony Melton will earn $8.25 million next season and $8 million in 2023-24.
The 6-2 Melton is a four-year NBA-er who slashed 10.8 PPG/4.5 RPG and 2.7 APG for the Grizzlies last season.
