ESPN star Jay Bilas is very high on Rutgers.
He was analyzing the March Madness field last night, claiming the No. 11 seedScarlet Knights are “undervalued” ahead of their First Four play-in game against No. 11 Notre Dame in Dayton, Ohio, on Wednesday.
Bilas then took it a step further and gave Rutgers a good shot at beating No. 6 Alabama in the first round should the Scarlet Knights beat the Fighting Irish like he expects.
“I like Rutgers to beat Notre Dame,” Bilas said on ESPN.
“I think Rutgers is undervalued in that game. I would favor Rutgers over Alabama. They don’t shoot the ball like they did last year.”
