JERSEY SPORTSBOOKS DID $1B IN FEBRUARY, UP 33% OVER 2021

New Jersey’s online and retail sportsbooks reported almost $1 billion in February wagers, down 27% from the record $1.35billion in January 2022.
The figure is, however, a 33% increase from the $734 million in February 2021.
A key driver for the results was the Super Bowl, with a state record $143m in non-parlay wagering. Basketball, however, remains crucial to the state’s sports betting market, with bettors placing $503m in wagers on the sport over the 28 days of February.
