Penn State opens its 2022 season Thursday night at Purdue.
The Nits are trying to rebound from another disappointing 7-6 2021 season after a disappointing 4-5 COVID-shortened 2020 season.
Many believe this is going to be a big year for the Nittany Lions, though they aren’t in the preseason Top 25 for the first time in memory.
However, Purdue has been an improved program over the last few years and the talent level has improved.
