PHILS BRYCE HARPER GOT A NIGHT OF REST — FATIGUE

Bryce Harper took the night off for the first time since he returned two weeks ago from the injured list with a broken left thumb. Harper was hitless in his last seven at-bats and 10 of his last 11.
“I think anybody that comes back from a short rehab stint kind of takes off and then plateaus. Maybe fatigue sets in or whatever,” manager Rob Thomson said.
“So he might be going through a little bit of that.”
