PHILS NICK CASTELLANOS IS REALLY MAKING UP FOR LAST YEAR!
By Sally Fahey
Nick Castellanos went 3-for-4 with two runs, a double, a home run, and two RBI in the Phils’ 8-4 win over the Blue Jays.
After getting brushed back by an Alek Manoah pitch near his head, Castellanos sent one down the left-field line that just hugged the foul pole to put the Phillies up 2-1.
He added a double off Tim Mayza in the sixth and eventually scored on a sacrifice fly by J.T. Realmuto.
Castellanos is off to a torrid start after his down 2022, hitting .342/.384/.564 in his last 30 games with five homers and 22 RBI.
