All 14 other NL teams have played a postseason game since the last time the Phillies played one.
Remember Ryan Howard sprawled in the dirt, clutching his torn Achilles, in October 2011?
That was the last postseason pitch thrown to any Phillie.
But they’ve spent the big bucks to go for it this year.
And here they are, with 241 million reasons to hope they can hand that Longest NL Drought baton to the Pirates (2015) in a few weeks.
