PHILS RELIEVER DAVID ROBERTSON MAY BE BACK FOR NLCS AGAINST PADS

By Sam Bush

David Robertson (calf) is throwing off a mound Monday in San Diego.

Robertson suffered a right calf strain while celebrating Bryce Harper’s home run in Game 2 of the NL Wild Card Series against the Cardinals and was left off the Phillies’ active roster for the best-of-five NLDS versus the Braves.

The hope is that the veteran reliever can be an option again for Philly’s best-of-seven NLCS matchup with the Padres, which is set to begin tonight.

Final roster decisions are due this morning.
