Jeff Passan of ESPN reports that the Phillies have reached an agreement on a contract with free agent right-hander Taijuan Walker.
Jon Heyman of the New York Post adds that it’s a four-year, $71 million contract.
The 30-year-old hurler had a nice season with the Mets in 2022 — going 12-5 with a 3.49 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and a 132/45 K/BB ratio across 157 1/3 innings.
