RANGERS-SENS SATURDAY GAME POSTPONED DUE TO COVID IN OTTAWA
The Rangers’ matchup with the Senators scheduled for Saturday has been postponed as Ottawa attempts to gain control of their COVID-19 outbreak.
After 10 players and assistant coach Jack Capuano tested positive for the coronavirus over the past 10 days, the NHL took action and postponed the Senators’ next three games. Goalie Matt Murray, defenseman Nikita Zaitsev and centers Drake Batherson and Josh Norris are among those who have been out of the Senators’ lineup.
Ottawa had been scheduled to travel to New Jersey to face the Devils on Tuesday before returning home to face the Predators on Thursday and the Rangers on Saturday, but all three were postponed.
