RUN-STUFFING SUH AND JOSEPH GIVE EAGLES MUCH-NEEDED D-LINE HELP!
Art Beitchman
Soon after the Eagles lost Monday night to the Washington Commanders 32-21, GM Howie Roseman quickly came to the realization that the defensive line needed to get addressed.
That’s because the Eagles only possessed the ball for 20 minutes, leaving the defense on the field for an amazing 40 minutes,.
Something had to give.
In just a few days Roseman signed 640 pounds of defensive tackles Linvale Joseph and just yesterday former All-Pro Ndamukong Suh.
Both could be in uniform this Sunday at Indianapolis to square off with the 4-5-1 Colts, playing under new interim head coach Jeff Saturday.
The Birds will need the new additions to get to work quickly as they take on explosive Colts RB Jonathan Taylor who’s been tearing up the NFL the last couple of years,.
CBS will broadcast the game November 20th, 1pm.
