
THE EAGLES FINALLY HAVE AN IN-YOUR-FACE SAFETY IN GARDNER-JOHNSON

The Eagles shook up their secondary yesterday, releasing projected starting safety Anthony Harris and adding C.J. Gardner-Johnson from the New Orleans Saints.
Gardner-Johnson has worked primarily as a slot corner in the pros but does have safety experience in his background.
He’ll help a defensive back group that includes corners Darius Slay, James Bradberry and Avonte Maddox and up-and-coming safety Marcus Epps.
