After a highly successful offseason, the Eagles travel to Detroit this Sunday to open the 2022 NFL season against the Lions with the NFC East title in sight.
The beefed-up defense will be on display for 60 minutes, and it will be out to prove these upgrades will make them a contender in the NFC.
QB Jalen Hurts entering his third season, second as a starter, looks to lead an offense that has a true threat at WR in AJ Brown acquired in a draft day trade with the Titans, coupled with Devonta Smith and tight end Dallas Goedert.
The Birds passing game could be one of the best in the league, and now Hurts needs to take the next step as a legitimate NFL passer.
It all starts Sunday at 1pm at Ford Field, and the Eagles are -4 as kickoff is just 4 days away.
